1045...video Charles Aznavour & Sting L'amour C'est Comme Un Jour (Love Is Like A Day)

Charles Aznavour & Sting L'amour C'est Comme Un Jour (Love Is Like A Day)

The legendary Charles Aznavour duets with sting, in an Aznavour original, L'amour C'est Comme Un Jour (Love Is Like A Day!!). Emotional melody and lyrics, well delivered by the 2 vocal talents.

Aznavour is often described as the Sinatra of Europe. In addition to being a multi-language vocalist, he has composed the music, as well as written the lyrics to the original French version of his songs. At the age of 86, with well over 50 years of experience (half a century), he is still touring and spends most of his time in retirement, in his home in Switzerland.

He's just put his finishing touches to a life long career, in his latest recording titled, Duos. In this recording he duets with some of the world's most popular singers, including Nana Mouskouri, Paul Anka, Placido Domingo, Julio Iglesias, Celine Dion and more. Besides French, Sting has also recorded in Italian and Portuguese.

English translation:

The sun shines full of fire
But I just see your eyes
The whiteness of your naked body
In front of my passionate hands
Come, don't let run away
The mornings embroidered of love
Come, don't let die
The spring, our pleasures

Love is like a day
It goes away, love goes away
It's like a day of sun in a feast
And of moon in a squabble
And of rain in a battle
Love is like a day
It goes away, love goes away

It's like a day of an infinite smile
An infinite tenderness
An infinite caress
Love is like a day
My love goes away

Our summer is gone
And your eyes have forgotten me
Do you remember these days
When our hearts talked about love
We just could keep
Pieces of happiness
If there's not future anymore
There's a memory left

Love is like a day
It goes away, love goes away
It's like a day of sun in a feast
And of moon in a squabble
And of rain in a battle
Love is like a day
It goes away, love goes away

It's like a day of an infinite smile
An infinite tenderness
An infinite caress
Love is like a day
My love goes away

Lyrics:

I can't say goodbye to you by Helen Reddy with Lyrics
